"MINI MONSTER"

Hollowing System

We have seen a need for a long time for a self contained Hollowing System to fit the Mini Lathe. If you look around, you will see that a majority of the Hollow Forms that are done could be done on a mini lathe.  There hasn't been a commercially made tool that could be taken from the box without any modification to the lathe, and use it. I know that there are probably 100's of tools out there that the turners have made themselves that do a great job and to that I say Bravo, but there are people that do not have the time or the equipment to make their own hollowing system. That's where we come in.  What we are showing is a self contained articulated arm system, that comes with our Bullet Proof Laser. This hollowing system comes with a 5/8" & 3/4" Boring Bars, Straight & 45 Degree tool holders with 1/4" Square High Speed Steel Tool bits, Swivel Tool with 3/16" Tool Bit & stems, Round Carbide Scraper & stem.  With the addition of 6 thrust bearings, makes for a very, very smooth operation.

We have been testing this tool in different forms since February this year. We feel that it is ready for release to the public.

NOTE:  Pictures show the tool with Round Tool Bits. We no longer offer the Round High Speed Steel Tool Bits. Customers have indicated that they preferred the square type High Speed Steel tool bits; finding that they were easier to sharpen and more readily available.

It has become necessary to increase the price of many of our items. This is due to the increases that have been past on to us by our suppliers. We are trying to keep them to a minimum. Here's hoping that everyone understands.
