We have recently introduced the Monster Bowl Sanders to our line of Lathe Tools and Accessories. These tools are manufactured with the same quality and craftsmanship as our other great products. This is a heavy duty tool, that will help keep the chatter and vibration to a minimum. Gets rid of those sanding rings. Just press it against the turning bowl and watch it work; automatically rotates to give you that fine smooth finish. Comes with a hook and loop 2 or 3 inch cushioned pad, interchangeable handle with cushioned grip. We have been asked to sell these individually,so here they are.

Overall length is approximately 16 1/2" long, made from cold drawn

1020 ASME Steel tubing with custom machined ends, soft comfortable

grip. The handle will be machined on both ends to allow for the use of

different sized tools. Comes in 3/8"-1/2", 1/2"-5/8" and 3/8"-5/8".

"MONSTER CUSTOM HANDLE II"

For those that have been asking when we were going to make a longer handle for their gouges, here it is. This is basically the same as our smaller version, but a lot longer. It is shown with a THOMPSON 1/2" Gouge and for reference a 24" scale. From the sampling of the new foam grip, it seems to be softer and a little thicker.

Will be offered machined on one end only, in 1/2" and 5/8".

MONSTER LASER SYSTEM II

"NEW DESIGN"

After what seems like an eternity, of testing different designs of clamps and different manufactures of lasers, battery boxes with switches, we have what we consider one of the best laser guided hollowing systems on the market today.  We are now introducing the MONSTER LASER SYSTEM II.  As all wood tuners of vases and closed vessels realize that knowing where your cutting tool is while it is inside that vase or vessel is probably one of the most important things there is.  If you dont know where your at, that vase that your turning could very well end up being a bowl instead of a vase, because youve cut through the inside of the vessel.

In the past, we have had some problems with the switches in the pointer style of lasers. With the pounding and vibration that some of these tools take, it was too much for the switches. We have changed our design and use an INDUSTRIAL LASER with a remote mounted battery box and switch, these will take the inexpensive AAA type of batteries. This we feel will take care of the switch failure. We have also changed clamps and the long bar. We have gone to a square bar and custom machined clamps, machined to within .0005 to keep everything true and straight. Once setup, the Laser System will be perpendicular to the bed and stay that way. This new system is really fast to change from tool to tool, with no tools required.

System comes with a custom machined mount that will fit on your " bar, a vertical bar all clamps and rods, battery box and switch with batteries. We use INDUSTRIAL STYLE lasers. (HOLLOWING SYSTEM DOES NOT COME WITH IT)
