We have grouped together the hollowing systems that we offer. They consist of captured, manual and articulating. All have their advantages and disadvantages.
"MONSTER"
Articulated Arm Hollowing System
This came about after the MINI Monster Hollowing System. I was asked to make a larger unit. One that not only would fit a larger lathe, but would be heavier and have the capability to use larger tools. This system is designed for the larger lathes, 14" and above and some 12" lathes. Of course, this will come with our Bullet Proof Laser System. It will be the same design as the smaller unit for the MINI, but it has bigger bearings, fasteners and boring bars. It comes with the main boring bar holder, a 5 1/2" extension, a straight 3/8" tool holder, a straight 1/2" tool holder, a 45 degree tool holder, a swivel tool with 3/16" square HSS tool bit and 2 stems, a round carbide cutter with custom machined stem. These units works so smoothly, they are a joy to use.We have shown both the MINI and the MAP II units together so you can see that it is a much larger then the MINI version. The tool that is pictured will fit a Powermatic 3520. The lathe pictured here is a 16".
NOTE:
We no longer offer the Round HSS tool bits. Customer requirements have dictated that the square tool bits are easier to sharpen and more readily available, therefore we will supply the square tool bits with your order.

MONSTER HOLLOW FORM WITH LASER
This is our top of the line Hollow Form System, comes with Laser and complete set of tooling. Comes with adjustable rear captive bars that adjust side to side and up and down. Tooling consists of the main captive bars, with swivel mount, main boring bar, straight 3/8" tool with holder, 45 degree angle tool holder with ¼" tool bit, swan neck bar, round, oval, and tear drop scrapers with individual mounting stems; swivel tool with 3/16" tool bit, extra fasteners and wrenches. New laser system comes with all mounting hardware and clamps to set up for deep hollowing. These clamps won’t slip, they stay where you put them. Please look at the pictures very carefully, this particular one was made for a Powermatic 3520. Purchaser will supply information on what make and model of lathe they have when purchased; this will insure that we get all the correct measurments. Comes with instruction sheets, One Year Warranty. NOTE: We have recently introduced personal colors for your lathes. WE now offer colors for Jet, Powermatic, Oneway and Delta Gray.

MHFL/MAP II COMBO
So many of you have asked about this combo, that we have decided to offer it. What you see is a combination of the Monster Articulating Arm Hollowing System and the Monster Hollow Form Captive System with Laser. It will come with the following tooling. 3/4" diameter main boring bar, 5" extension, 45 degree tool holder, 1/2" tool holder, 3/8" tool holder. 5/8" diameter swan neck tool, swivel tool with 3/16" tool bit and stem, oval, round and teardrop scrapers with stems and a carbide scraper with custom hex stem. Articulating Arm and Captive Bars interchange in the Rear Base Assembly for quick change overs. All tooling will interchange in both systems.
